Florence Florence Florence

A nice little picture of the Duomo from me below. Note how the sky is perfect blue with no clouds . . . all of the time!

All of the buildings look so beautiful off of the blue sky.

We've been doing tons of walking around visiting lots of beautiful places and trying to learn Italian.

We stumbled upon our first Italian (but mostly american) dance club. Natalie picked up the men and I danced around with a Philippine mama. Woohoo!

We've dined out twice and oh hooooow delicious! The market food is soo great too! Fruiti! Fruiti! Fruiti!

We made a few Italian friends too so far. So, so great! So helpful in teaching us Italian and Italian ways. and incredibly kind too.

My cellphone won't work to call the U.S. so far and I have quite the soar throat but that's all of the little wrong.

Florence is fantastic, can't wait to see the wonderful difference of the rest of Italy!

First Day In Italy

Its is our first day in Italy! Most of the day or past two has been on buses and planes! We had a lovely 3 hours delay in Paris, France. We never left the airport but I know it is the home for me!

I found the one thing I wanted to buy in France at the airport. Le Petit Prince en francais et il est le meilleur!

It was so exiting testing my french out for the first time with real francophones!

I was very very sad to leave France but I' ll be back!

After a flight from Paris to Florence we made it to our Italian apartment.

Outside my bedroom window I can see the Duomo! The entire apartment is gorgeous and very good sized!

It has been such a cultural experience already! The beauty of the french language and then the indescribable beauty of the Duomo at night.

We ended our first day with a couple bottles of vino and our own homemade pasta. I can't wait for what tomorrow brings and the next four months.
